Why use our Engineers Workstation?
A common occurrence when on site is that many engineers have nowhere to place their laptops whilst plugged into the fire alarm panel or when working on the distribution board, resulting on laptops positioned on risky/inconvenient surfaces
The purpose of the Engineers Workstation is to allow the engineer to have easy access to their laptop and other essential tools whilst working with either the fire alarm panel or distribution board.
This is possible by having a hooked lip that sits on the inside edge of the open fire alarm panel or distribution board. Alternatively, if there is no lip to hook on to you can use the fastening bolts to clamp down onto the base of the fire alarm panel or distribution board.
The Engineers Workstation will work with both surface mounted and recessed panels.
To assist with the stability of the Engineers Workstation when used with surface mounted panels there is a tray in the rear of the Engineers Workstation which can be slid out and secured using thumbscrews to stabilise the Engineers Workstation against the wall.
